Support Communities In Sudan And Around the World Today

24.8 million — nearly one in two people in Sudan — will need humanitarian assistance in 2024, according to the UN.

The ongoing conflict has forced thousands of people to flee their homes in search of safety, and thousands more are facing hunger and starvation because of shortages in supplies. The Sudanese people were already facing one of the world’s worst hunger crisis before, and now the escalation in conflict is causing an even greater shortage of nutritional supplies, medical supplies and food. Communities are choking without access to the life-saving supplies they so desperately need.

HOW ARE WE RESPONDING?

Relief International is one of the few organisations still operating in the region. We are currently operating 25 health and nutrition facilities in North Darfur, including five in Zamzam camp. Our facilities are a lifeline for communities; providing food and medical supplies, vaccines, baby delivery services and mental health support.
